Mullite brick composition
For mullite brick composition, mullite as a good refractory material, has high hardness, high melting point and stable chemical properties. Mullite brick has high fire resistance and good corrosion resistance to acid slag at high temperature. In addition, mullite brick also has good high temperature load resistance, wear resistance, spalling resistance, etc. Mullite brick has high mechanical strength, thermal shock resistance, and thermal expansion coefficient is stable in a wide range, so it is widely used. Kerui material makes corundum mullite brick with a certain ratio of mullite and corundum, which has better comprehensive performance than pure corundum or pure mullite and is more widely used.
Mullite brick composition products
Mullite brick composition is a kind of high quality refractory material, it has the characteristics of uniform expansion, excellent thermal shock stability, high softening point under load, low creep value at high temperature, high hardness, good chemical corrosion resistance and so on. It mainly includes high purity fused mullite, ordinary fused mullite, all natural bauxite concentrate sintered mullite.
Kerui mullite brick is a promising high temperature material which combines the excellent properties of Mullite and Corundum Mullite brick. When mullite is the base phase of corundum as the second phase, the fracture strength of the material increases obviously.
In addition, we add a certain amount of ZrO2 in the mullite jade slag refractory plate as the furnace lining material, has better thermal shock resistance.

Lightweight mullite bricks properties
Lightweight mullite brick composition is made of natural and good raw materials with high aluminum and low iron. The structure is based on mullite crystal phase. It has the characteristics of high compressive strength, good thermal shock stability, low thermal conductivity, strong permeability resistance, erosion resistance, etc. It can be widely used in metallurgy, petrochemical, machinery, ceramics and other industries to make industrial furnace lining or insulation layer. It is an ideal product with long life, energy saving and efficiency. Wood flour and polystyrene pellets can be added according to user requirements to produce polylite mullite insulation brick.

Notes:
- Classification temperature refers to the temperature of refractory heated to 2% linear shrinkage, should not be used as the temperature selection of materials.
- When light mullite brick is used as a refractory working surface, the maximum working temperature in the kiln is an important factor in determining the type of light refractory material selected. The working temperature of the selected light mullite brick must be 100-300℃ higher than the actual working temperature in the kiln.
- Please refer to the load softening index for the type of light mullite brick selected.
- Volume density and aluminum content can be adjusted according to user requirements.
