We are a refractory material manufacturer, with four major factories: heavy brick factory, light brick factory, monolithic refractory factory and fused-cast brick factory.
We promise to provide you with high-quality refractory materials.
High-strength clay insulating firebrick introduction
High-strength clay insulating brick is a kind of heat insulation material, generally refers to the light refractory made of refractory clay alumina content of 30% ~ 46%. Lightweight clay insulation bricks are characterized by their porous structure (porosity is generally 40 ~ 85%) and high heat insulation.
High-strength clay insulating firebrick features
- High strength
- Good thermal shock stability
- The reburn line changes little
- Low thermal conductivity
- Good thermal insulation performance
High-strength clay insulating firebrick index
Index | QN-0.6 | QN-0.8 | QN-1.0 |
Bulk & Density (g/cm3) ≥ | 0.6 | 0.8 | 1 |
Cold Crushing Strength (MPa) ≥ | 2 | 3 | 4 |
Heat Conductivity (900℃±25) (W/m·k) ≤ | 0.25 | 0.3 | 0.5 |
Application of high-strength clay insulating brick
High-strength clay insulating firebricks are mainly used for insulation in industrial kilns. Sometimes it is also used for kiln linings that are not corroded by high temperature molten materials and corrosive gases. The highest operating temperature is 1200 ~ 1500℃.
