Product introduction of magnesia carbon brick
Magnesite carbon bricks are still widely used in the iron and steel metallurgy industry. The application of magnesite carbon bricks improves the technical and economic indicators of the converter and reduces the consumption of refractory materials. In addition, as a non combustible product, compared with the traditional fired magnesia dolomite brick, the fuel consumption of magnesia carbon brick production is saved by at least 80%.
Application of magnesia carbon brick
- Furnace mouth: due to the sharp change of furnace mouth temperature, the corrosion hazard of slag and high temperature waste gas is great, and the refractory used for furnace mouth must have high thermal shock resistance and slag resistance
- Furnace cover: furnace cover is the part seriously corroded by furnace slag, so magnesia carbon brick is required to have strong slag resistance and thermal shock resistance.
- Furnace and furnace bottom: these parts are severely washed by molten steel during blowing, but the damage degree is generally less than other parts, so magnesia carbon bricks with low carbon content can be selected.
